I think I did it!....I'll go back and look for more library blogs
Added a new RSS feed to my bloglines...
This is my first blog. I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to share other than my experiences as a Technical Services Assistant. I'm proud to be a life-long learner and am always hungry to learn anything, whether it be job related or not. You might be surprised to know that learning anything can help you in your job.

How do you think public libraries (or libraries in general) could utilize RSS feeds to help their patrons?
In response to susan g. I believe that libraries could utilize RSS feeds for several functions. For example, reference librarians who answer the same questions multiple times a day could set up their feeds for daily up-to-date information, thereby answering patrons, quickly. Additionally, for special events across the county, state, they could set up a feed to coordinate their programs with others to avoid scheduling conflicts, and assure them the best possible attendance. There are countless ways RSS feeds could be used in local libraries.
